A vacancy has arisen to appoint a Co-opted Council Member to join the Council.

 

This will be considered on the agenda for the meeting scheduled for 8th March 2022.

13 December 2021 - Vacancy For Parish Councillor

 

 

As you will be aware that Angie has resigned from the Council for health reasons thus creating a vacancy. Attached is the official Notice of the vacancy which explains the procedure. Its administered by Lewes District Council, if insufficient numbers stand for election by the date mentioned. Piddinghoe Parish Council can co-opt a person as Councillor. If you wish to be co-opted rather than stand for election, please notify the Clerk,

Several residents have recieved an unsolicited flyer requesting them to download a 'nextdoor, app. Naturally it has generated concerns and curiosity.

it has nothing to do with the Piddinghoe Parish Council, and appears to be data gathering attempt.

I have researched it on the internet and the Circular shows the information gathered, so you can make an informed choice.
